Cuenta con la licenciatura en Biolog\u00eda por la Universidad Veracruzana (UV), maestr\u00eda y doctorado en Neuroetolog\u00eda, por la misma instituci\u00f3n.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\">Adem\u00e1s, realiz\u00f3, en la University of East London, una investigaci\u00f3n sobre la actividad biol\u00f3gica y qu\u00edmica del extracto etanolico de rhoeo discolor L, determinando el perfil fitoqu\u00edmico de dichos extractos, as\u00ed como su actividad antibacterial.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\">A la fecha se desempe\u00f1a como catedr\u00e1tica de la Facultad de Biolog\u00eda de la UV.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\">La doctora Vianey del Roc\u00edo Torres Pelayo ha recibido distintos reconocimientos y premios entre los que destacan los otorgados por la UV, en 2019, por el registro de su patente de uso de extracto acuoso de salvia urica epling para regular los niveles de glucosa en sangre para la prevenci\u00f3n y tratamiento de la diabetes, y en 2023, por la obtenci\u00f3n de la patente de extractos vegetales para la conservaci\u00f3n postcosecha de productos agr\u00edcolas.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-style: inherit;
